GoKawiilBose, JBL, Sony headphones gain hidden LE Audio features via firmware updates
Bose has joined JBL and Sony in bringing LE Audio support to its flagship headphones through an over-the-air firmware update, following JBL's Tour Pro 3 update and Sony's WF-1000XM6 earbuds shipping with LE Audio built in. LE Audio uses the LC3 codec and a unified audio profile to merge voice and media streams, and introduces native multi-stream audio so earbuds receive signals directly rather than one relaying to the other.
