GoKawiilNew build system 'tine' released as open source, based on Buck2
A team building an operating system focused on cryptographic integrity has published tine, a new build system built on Meta's Buck2. The system is designed to be self-contained, support pinning of every software component, integrate package import and update tooling, and enable full rebuilds and reproducible, hermetic builds across multiple upstream Linux distributions.
