Marissa Mayer has unveiled Dazzle, a personal AI assistant that draws its understanding of users primarily from their phone photo libraries rather than email, calendars or shopping data. The startup previously raised an $8 million seed round in December, and Mayer demonstrated how Dazzle can extract details like hobbies, travel history and family interests from photos, offering functions like auto-populating calendar events or suggesting repair services based on images.
