Marvel-funded training for canceled 'Blade' film benefited Mahershala Ali elsewhere

Mahershala Ali says the physical preparation Marvel financed for his role as Blade, a project that was ultimately scrapped, wasn't wasted effort. He spent over a year in intense training for the Daywalker part, and he has said that conditioning proved useful when he worked on another film.
