GoKawiilNeon announces rival SCP Foundation film, commits to Creative Commons license
Neon revealed plans for its own SCP Foundation movie, set for theatrical release in 2027, after reaching out to the SCP Wiki team and pledging to release the film under a Creative Commons ShareAlike license. This follows backlash against A24, which had announced its own SCP project without contacting the wiki or committing to that licensing requirement. The SCP Foundation Wiki admin team issued a statement praising Neon's communication and adherence to the license's terms.
