GoKawiilEames Institute unveils Herzog & de Meuron-designed museum campus in California
The Eames Institute of Infinite Curiosity has released architectural renderings for a new museum campus dedicated to designers Charles and Ray Eames. The project is led by Herzog & de Meuron with local firm EHDD and landscape architects Field Operations, and is framed by organizers as an exploration of the Eameses' design philosophy rather than a theme-park-style tribute. The institute's founders also publicly addressed questions about the project's funding sources for the first time.
