Nvidia disputes NYT report on surveillance tied to Jensen Huang and Chinese asset claims
Nvidia pushed back on a New York Times report claiming US intelligence agencies surveilled a woman, Alice Huang, linked to Singapore-based cloud firm Megaspeed, over concerns she could be a Chinese intelligence asset close to CEO Jensen Huang. Nvidia said Megaspeed is simply a regional cloud customer and that prior allegations it helped evade US export controls on Nvidia chips were investigated and found baseless last year. The company also said customers do not get access to trade secrets or national security information.
