DOJ charges Earthmade Computer CEO Greg Lui over alleged $300M Nvidia chip smuggling to China
The Department of Justice announced the arrest of Greg Lui, 38, CEO of Earthmade Computer, accusing him of using falsified paperwork to reroute servers containing restricted Nvidia A100 and H100 GPUs to China via Malaysia and Singapore. The DOJ says the scheme ran from October 2023 to August 2026 and involved shipments worth more than $300 million, including fraudulent buyer documents and false claims to a Malaysian official that goods had reached China.
