Meta is creating a new enterprise business to sell its AI products and services to other companies, Mark Zuckerberg announced on Facebook. He named Chirantan "CJ" Desai, formerly of MongoDB, as Chief Enterprise Platform Officer to lead the unit, which will initially offer tools like Muse agent, Meta Business Agent, Muse API and Muse Code to businesses and developers.
Meta announced a new business unit called Meta Enterprise Platform on Monday, aimed at selling its AI tools to corporate customers. The company hired MongoDB CEO Chirantan 'CJ' Desai to lead the effort, which will package Meta's AI stack—including its Muse assistant, Muse API, Muse Code, and Business Agent—into products for businesses. MongoDB shares fell more than 17% after Desai's departure was announced, and the company named former CEO Dev Ittycheria as interim chief while it searches for a permanent replacement.
