GoKawiilDoorDash agrees to buy Instacart in $17 billion deal
DoorDash announced Thursday it will acquire Instacart for $65 per share, valuing the grocery delivery company at $17 billion. Both companies' boards have approved the deal, though the two will operate independently until the transaction closes. DoorDash intends to retain Instacart's brand, app and enterprise technology.
