GoKawiilASML CEO says AI-driven chip demand will play out over 10-15 years
ASML CEO Christophe Fouquet said the effects of AI on chipmaking and society will unfold gradually over the next decade or more, not as an immediate surge. He pointed to planned upgrades including larger mirror apertures in ASML's EUV lithography systems and a shift toward vertically stacked circuit designs as ways manufacturers will keep improving chip density and performance.
