Lenovo has launched the Googlebook 15, its first laptop in Google's new Googlebook line, at a starting price of $1,099.99 when it goes on sale October 4. That's $200 less than the $1,299 price Google had announced for the device last week. The laptop features a 15.3-inch 2.8K OLED touchscreen, an Intel Core Ultra 5 325 chip, 16GB or 32GB of RAM, and 256GB or 512GB of storage.
MediaTek announced the Dimensity CX C10 Max, its first chip in a new CX line, positioned between its RTX Spark and Kompanio processors. The 3nm chip will launch alongside Google's new Googlebook laptops on September 21, and appears likely to be built specifically for that lineup given MediaTek's history supplying Chromebook silicon.

A new leak reported by MacObserver reveals specifications for the Lenovo Googlebook 15, one of the first Android-based laptops arriving under Google's upcoming Googlebook platform. The device reportedly includes a 15.3-inch 120Hz OLED screen with 2,880 x 1,800 resolution, an Intel Core Ultra 5 processor, up to 32GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of storage. It also carries a distinctive LED accent called a 'glowbar' and support for Gemini AI features like Magic Cursor.
