Ripple Custody version 1.43 now supports the Canton Network, enabling banks and funds to hold and transfer Canton assets within their existing custody systems. The update, released on October 5, 2026, allows clients to connect their own validators, with signing keys remaining securely in their own vaults, ensuring control over transaction authorization. Institutions can custody Canton Coin (CC) and CIP-56 tokens, leveraging Canton’s privacy-focused Layer 1 blockchain infrastructure used by major financial firms.
