GoKawiilPalantir CEO Alex Karp buys 15,000 hectares of forest in Härjedalen, Sweden
Alex Karp, CEO of Palantir Technologies, acquired 15,000 hectares of forest land in Härjedalen, Sweden, from paper company SCA AB for 235 million kronor (about $22 million), through a newly registered firm called Cladonia Skog AB. The deal came to light after local hunters were told their hunting lease on the land was being cancelled, and local authorities said they had no advance notice of the transaction.
