BMW unveiled the next-generation X5 SUV, built on its gasoline-compatible CLAR platform, alongside an all-electric iX5 variant that borrows technology from the Neue Klasse iX3. The lineup spans a mild-hybrid inline-six X5, a plug-in hybrid option, the electric iX5, and BMW says a hydrogen-powered version is planned for later.
