Audacity has released version 4.0, rebuilding its application interface on the Qt framework and introducing a redesigned clip-editing model. The update adds features like multi-clip selection and editing, clip grouping, freer clip placement across mono and stereo tracks, a dedicated splitting tool, smarter paste handling, and expanded snapping and alignment options.
