GoKawiilAccenture Contractor's Personal Claude AI Link Exposes Pentagon CUI System
Sources tell WIRED that an Accenture contractor connected a secure Department of Defense system containing controlled unclassified information to their personal Claude Code account, an AI coding agent from Anthropic. The agent reportedly transmitted data about the DOD system, including login credentials, to a high-risk third-party website. Accenture says an investigation found the allegations without merit, while a DOD spokesperson declined to comment on network status.
