Tom's Hardware ran Capcom's new RE Engine title Onimusha: Way of the Sword through its built-in benchmark across 31 CPUs, from Intel's newly released Core Ultra 7 270K Plus down to AMD's decade-old Ryzen 7 2700X. AMD's X3D chips outperformed flagship processors by roughly 10%, while the 270K Plus underperformed compared to Intel's older Raptor Lake Refresh parts, and AMD's newer 12-core Ryzen 9 chips also lagged unexpectedly.
Walmart has discounted the CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme prebuilt desktop by 21%, dropping it from $1,769.99 to $1,399. The system pairs Intel's Core Ultra 7 270K Plus processor with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti (8GB VRAM), 16GB of DDR5 memory, and a 1TB SSD.
After AMD held all ten spots on Amazon's best-selling CPU list, two Intel chips have broken through: the newly released Core Ultra 7 270K Plus at #6 ($290) and the older Core i7-14700K at #9 ($312). The 270K Plus offers strong multi-core and single-core performance, trailing only AMD's $569 Ryzen 9 9950X3D among the top 10, while the 14700K remains popular for its compatibility with both older LGA 1700 boards and DDR4 memory.
