Ninja has introduced the Crispi Microwave and Air Fryer, a $449.99 appliance pairing a 1,000W microwave with a 1,700W air fryer using what the company calls FusionCrisp technology. The device includes a 5.5-quart glass cooking dish and a nonstick crisper plate instead of a rotating turntable, aiming to reheat or cook food so it's hot inside and crispy outside.
CNET tested Ninja's newly released MultiPot XL, a 12-in-1 cooker with settings including slow cook, sear/sauté, bake, steam, sous vide, rice and hot pot. The appliance offers a 7.5-quart 'Megazone' pot or two separate 3.5-quart ceramic-coated pots, and the review tested it by preparing homemade ramen using the sear/sauté function.
Magnifique has released a combo appliance pairing a 4.5-quart glass air fryer bowl with an optional base that converts it into a slow cooker, rice cooker and braising pot. The unit, priced at $250 and sold at Walmart, disassembles for compact storage and features a nontoxic, oven-safe glass cooking chamber rather than a nonstick basket. It cannot run air fryer and slow cooker functions simultaneously.
