Sony's Crunchyroll has teamed up with Fox One to offer a combined subscription bundle for US customers, available through Prime Video for a limited time. The bundle, priced at $23 per month, gives subscribers access to Crunchyroll's ad-free anime library alongside Fox's news, sports and entertainment channels at a 23% discount versus buying both separately.
Mike McFarland, a longtime voice actor known for his work on Dragon Ball Z and One Piece during the Funimation era, has died at age 56. He had been battling brain cancer, and in recent years also worked as an English dub script writer and director for Crunchyroll.
Sony has activated free, ad-supported TV (FAST) channels on PlayStation 5 consoles in the United States, adding a media tab with more than 100 live channels and on-demand content from Sony Pictures Television. The lineup spans movies, TV shows, anime, news, sports, documentaries, gaming and comedy programming, including titles like Community, The Walking Dead and Naruto. Sony says it will keep updating the service and plans to expand it to Canada and other markets.
