GoKawiiliOS 27 adds AI wallpaper creation via revamped Image Playground
Apple's iOS 27 update integrates an upgraded Image Playground directly into the iPhone's wallpaper picker, letting users generate custom AI wallpapers without opening a separate app. The system also automatically suggests AI-stylized versions of users' own photos in the Featured wallpaper section, marked with an Image Playground icon. Users can also describe an image, choose a style, or base a wallpaper on an existing photo or person, and the result is automatically sized for the iPhone screen.
