GoKawiilHBO's Lanterns wraps first season with dual 2016/2026 Green Lantern mystery arc
HBO's DC Universe series Lanterns concluded its first season with an emotional finale tying together two timelines: a 2016 storyline involving Hal Jordan and trainee John Stewart investigating a mass shooting linked to alien Manhunters in Rushville, Nebraska, and a 2026 storyline centered on Hal Jordan's murder. The review praises the show's departure from typical superhero conventions in favor of a grounded, detective-drama tone.
