GoKawiilUK workers spend $1.3 billion yearly on personal AI tools, Deloitte finds
A Deloitte survey of 25,000 UK workers found 63 percent use generative AI at work, with one in six paying for AI tools themselves. Collectively, these self-funded subscriptions total more than $1.3 billion annually, even though many employees don't expense the cost. Nearly half rely on free tools while 34 percent use employer-provided AI.
