GoKawiilThesys releases OUI-1, a DiffusionGemma finetune for on-device UI generation
Thesys Engineering has released OUI-1, an open-weight model fine-tuned from Google's DiffusionGemma that generates user interfaces in a format called openui-lang. The 26B-parameter model scores 71.7% on the Generative UI Benchmark, a 5.5x jump over its base model, and can run locally on a consumer RTX 5090 GPU at FP8 precision, with weights published on Hugging Face under Gemma's terms of use.
