Anonymous buyer uploads Tippett Studios CD-ROM archive to Internet Archive

Following Tippett Studios' closure in August and the sale of its props and archives at a two-day auction, an anonymous bidder known as 'TippettFan' purchased a folder of CD-ROMs and other discs from the sale. That person has since digitized and uploaded 90 key, non-duplicated discs from the studio's archives to the Internet Archive, making them freely browsable online.

Video Game History Foundation's digital archive surpasses 5000 magazines

The Video Game History Foundation announced its digital archive now holds more than 5000 out-of-print magazines, up from the 1500-plus it launched with roughly a year and a half ago. The collection spans 1981 to 2026, totals nearly 600,000 pages, and was built with scans from community archiving groups, industry alumni, and individual contributors.
