Amazon is selling the Nothing Phone 3 for $599, a 25% cut from its $799 list price. The phone features a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, a triple 50MP rear camera system with periscope telephoto, and a roughly 5,000mAh battery with wireless and reverse wireless charging.
ETNews reports Apple is still on track to give next year's iPhone Pro models a four-sided bending display that curves around all edges for a near-borderless look. However, the report says Apple will hold off on two display technologies previously rumored for these models: Color Filter on Encapsulation and Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide Plus.

Apple is internally testing a smart home hub codenamed J490 that would rival Amazon's Echo Show and Google's Nest Hub, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. Xiaomi has detailed the Smart Privacy Display on its upcoming Xiaomi 18 Pro series, which alternates standard wide-angle pixels with narrow-angle pixels fitted with microscopic baffles in a 1:1 ratio. When privacy mode is switched on, the standard pixels turn off so only the baffled pixels emit light, cutting visible brightness to about 1% for viewers beyond 60 degrees. The feature can be activated through Quick Settings, the AI key, voice commands, app or page rules, location triggers, or automatic detection of someone looking over your shoulder via the front camera.
