Other brands publish shorter maximum ranges, and actual performance depends on camera sensitivity, mounting location, surroundings and software settings rather than visibility alone.
Ecobee is selling a refurbished version of its Essential smart thermostat (formerly the Lite) for $120 with free shipping, down from its $140 regular price, through its own refurbished store. Ring, Amazon's video doorbell company, has launched its first smart lock, featuring a manual power dial that lets users crank the device back to life if its battery dies.
