Blizzard unveiled World of Warcraft: Forever at BlizzCon 2026, a permanent Classic+ style version of the original 2004 game launching November 4. The expansion adds over 1,000 quests, nine dungeons, two raids, four new zones, and a new Skyborne elf race, all while keeping the level cap frozen at 60. It joins Modern (Retail) and Classic as a third permanent version of WoW.
E.l.f. Beauty's chief technology and AI officer Ekta Chopra has introduced an AI system called E.l.fluencer that helps community managers respond to the huge volume of comments the brand receives on TikTok and Instagram. The tool was trained on the company's stylebook and years of past human-written replies, allowing it to autogenerate answers to common shopper questions about product launches, comparisons, and suitability for different skin or hair types.
A developer created SELF (Structured Executable & Linkable Format), a prototype that replaces the traditional ELF executable format with a SQLite database file that can actually be run directly. The project builds on earlier work called sqlelf, which allowed users to query ELF binaries using SQL, and is now available on GitHub.
