Asus disclosed that a breach affected part of its eShop platform, exposing customer contact details and order records, though it says no payment or financial data was compromised. The company has not specified how many customers were affected, which regions were involved, or how long the breach lasted, and says it has contained the incident and is investigating.
Nintendo is holding a Customer Appreciation Sale from September 13-26, offering 30% discounts on games, DLC, Amiibo and accessories across the eShop, Nintendo Store and retailers. The company says the promotion is funded partly by roughly $300 million in tariff refunds it recovered from the US government, rather than passing those refunds directly back to customers.
Capcom confirmed its acclaimed remakes of Resident Evil 2 (2019), Resident Evil 3 (2020) and Resident Evil 4 (2023) will launch on the Nintendo Switch 2 eShop on October 16. Each release includes all previously released DLC, meaning the RE4 remake will ship with its Separate Ways expansion starring Ada Wong.
