The base Galaxy S26 keeps 25-watt charging but gets a larger 4,300 mAh battery, up from 4,000 mAh in the S25.

Fleet-data firm Geotab analyzed EV charging patterns and found that vehicles using DC fast charging for 12 percent or more of sessions degraded at 2.5% annually versus 1.5% for infrequent fast-chargers. Wireless charging to 50% in roughly 30 minutes requires a specific MagSafe-compatible charger named in Apple's guidance.
