GoKawiilSquare Enix launches Final Fantasy Resonance, its first HD-2D entry in the series
Square Enix has released Final Fantasy Resonance, a new game using the studio's HD-2D art style that blends pixel art with 3D visuals. The game follows classic Final Fantasy conventions including world-map traversal, turn-based battles, and traditional town setups with inns and shops. Players control a hero named Rain in what is described as a fairly standard fantasy story so far.
