Senators accuse administration of delaying disclosure of FISA court ruling on Section 702

Democratic Senators Ron Wyden and Adam Schiff say the Trump administration missed its own September 13 deadline to publicly release a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court ruling that found fault with search procedures used under Section 702. The program, which allows warrantless searches of Americans' communications collected under foreign intelligence authority, lapsed in June but continues under the court's approval while officials push Congress to reauthorize it by year's end. The senators have demanded an explanation and the names of responsible officials by November 6.
