The two tablets share identical IP68 ratings, thickness of 5.1mm, and weight of 692 grams, with the main difference being the S12 Ultra shipping with One UI 9.0 out of the box, an update the S11 Ultra will also receive soon.

Leaks point to an October 7 debut for the lineup.
A detailed leak from Winfuture has disclosed complete specifications for Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Tab S12 Plus and Ultra tablets, both powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip. The Plus reportedly gets a 12.6-inch display and up to 12GB RAM with a 10,600mAh battery, while the Ultra features a larger 14.6-inch screen, up to 16GB RAM, and an 11,600mAh battery. Both tablets are said to launch on October 7 in silver and gray color options.
A Geekbench 7 listing for the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra (SM-X940) reveals it running MediaTek's Dimensity 9500 chip with 12GB of RAM and Android 17 preinstalled. The device scored 2,760 in single-core and 9,291 in multi-core, notably higher than a comparable Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra result.
