Samsung's Camera app has a second, hidden settings menu accessible only through the Good Lock app's Camera Assistant module. Once installed, it adds controls like quick-tap shutter, automatic lens switching, HDR adjustments, and viewfinder customization that aren't available in the default camera settings. Users can launch it via the app drawer, the Good Lock app, or directly within Camera Settings.
Samsung's One UI 9 update adds new personalization options accessible through its Good Lock suite and Home Up application. Key additions include a Favorites Background tool for editing blur, shadow, image, and color on the Favorites screen, similar controls for the Edge Panel, and configurable multi-finger gesture shortcuts for actions like screenshots or volume control.
A Good Lock module called Nice Shot lets Samsung Galaxy users add a trash icon to the floating toolbar that appears right after taking a screenshot, allowing immediate deletion. The feature is aimed at users who accidentally trigger screenshots, such as through Back-Tap gestures, or who simply dislike a captured image. Deleting via this button is permanent and bypasses the Trash folder, so removed screenshots cannot be recovered.
Samsung has acknowledged a bug in its Home Up Good Lock module where backups fail and get deleted as "broken" if users have set custom folder label colors. A Samsung Community moderator confirmed the issue and said engineers are working on a fix that requires changes to the underlying code, to be released in a future update. In the meantime, users can revert folder label colors to default settings to create working backups.
A Galaxy S26 Ultra owner reported on Samsung's Korean Community forum that a clock positioned in LockStar via Good Lock's ClockFace feature appeared in a completely different spot on the actual lock screen and Always-On Display. Samsung's Good Lock support team confirmed it has reproduced the bug and said its development team is investigating, while advising affected users to switch to a default clock style in the meantime.
