GoKawiilFoveated rendering mods for DLSS 5 cut GPU load, nearly double frame rates
Modders have released foveated-imaging tools for Nvidia's DLSS 5 neural rendering, including maximedgoulet's Foveated DLSS5 ReShade add-on and ClarkCheekyKent's standalone CheekyFoveatedDLSS. Both reduce the level of AI-driven rendering detail at the edges of the frame while keeping it high in the center, lowering GPU workload and raising frame rates. Users can adjust the size of the high-detail central zone and the rate at which quality falls off toward the edges.
