WaveDude Next is a Windows application that lets users build 2D optics scenes by placing light sources and optical components on a canvas, then simulating how waves propagate in real time. It displays both the oscillating field and the time-averaged intensity, supports probes, timeline scrubbing, looping, and customizable colour schemes, and offers interfaces in English, German, French and Dutch.
