A woman identified as Jane Doe has sued xAI, alleging that Grok was trained on child sexual abuse material depicting her as a preschooler in the early 2000s. She learned of the AI-generated images through a Canadian child protection group after receiving a Justice Department victim notification, and claims xAI stores Grok's outputs to further train the model, compounding the harm.
A community developer has released an unofficial build that repackages Cursor's Electron-based Grok Bot app, officially available only for macOS and Windows, so it runs natively on Ubuntu and other Linux distributions. The project swaps out Windows-only native components and packages the app as a .deb, tarball, or AppImage, currently targeting Grok Bot version 0.29.0 on Electron 42.1.0.
X has rolled out a new feed called NFL Gametime, sitting alongside the For You and Following tabs, offering real-time scores, play-by-play data, league news and creator commentary. The feed is live now and will run through the 2027 Super Bowl, built around a static GameTime hub for tracking games.
