SpaceX Super Intelligence (formerly X/xAI) has launched a single plan called 'The X Subscription' that combines X Premium perks, Grok AI chat and agent tools, and the Cursor coding assistant. The bundle comes in five tiers—free, Plus at $8, Premium at $30, Super at $100, and Ultra at $200 per month—with higher tiers unlocking greater AI usage and access to the newest Grok models.
SpaceXSI, formerly SpaceXAI, has rolled out a unified subscription called the X Subscription that merges access to Grok, Grok Bot, Cursor and X Premium into tiered plans. Pricing ranges from $8 a month for a basic Plus tier to $200 a month for an Ultra tier with the earliest access to products and 20 times the usage capacity of Plus, with Premium, Super and Ultra also offered to teams and custom plans available for enterprises.
Elon Musk posted a screenshot on X showing his Grok AI agent placing a Lego Star Wars order, inadvertently revealing the order number, purchase amount, billing and delivery addresses, partial credit card digits, and the email tied to the purchase. X users quickly used that information to interact with Lego's customer service chatbot, with one account claiming to cancel the order and another claiming to alter it, increasing the quantity to 400 sets and changing the delivery address using Musk's payment details. Musk later said his order had not actually been canceled, and Lego declined to confirm the incident when asked by WIRED.
xAI's Grok chatbot remains available at no cost through its web and mobile apps, covering basic chat, voice interaction, and limited web and X search. However, usage caps restrict heavy use, and the most advanced models plus image and video generation tools are reserved for paid subscribers.
X's Grok Bot can now claim a personal inbox ending in @mail.grokbot.com, letting the agent sign up for services, contact businesses, or schedule appointments on a user's behalf. Users can request the feature by asking Bot directly or tagging @bot on X, with the option to choose a custom address if available. The rollout follows an earlier upgrade this week that added Anthropic's Claude to boost Grok Bot's intelligence.
SpaceXAI has become a Founding Corporate Patron of the Omacom Foundation, which oversees the Omarchy Linux distribution created by David Heinemeier Hansson, contributing $1.5 million worth of Grok tokens. Hansson said in a blog post the tokens would mainly fund faster development, code review, and bug fixes. The donation follows similar backing from companies like 1Password and Cloudflare, both of which faced criticism over their association with Hansson.
