GoKawiilAirbnb bans hosts from requiring dish-washing, bed-stripping or trash removal by guests
Airbnb updated its Reasonable House Rules policy to prohibit hosts from requiring guests to perform tasks like washing dishes, stripping beds, or taking out trash before checkout, calling these cleaner-level chores. The company said exceptions remain for situational needs like water restrictions during drought or bear-proof trash containers. The new rules apply to reservations booked on or after November 20.
