JPMorgan deploys $5 billion of planned $10 billion defense and supply-chain fund in year one

The bank has disclosed direct stakes in defense startups Hadrian and Castelion, with most investments still unannounced. Co-president Doug Petno said the program, run by former Berkshire Hathaway executive Todd Combs, could expand beyond the original $10 billion target.
