AI detector flags Rep. Haley Stevens' endorsement explainer as largely machine-written
Michigan congresswoman Haley Stevens published a nearly 900-word blog post on X defending her decision to withdraw support for Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed and endorse Republican Mike Rogers instead. The AI-detection tool Pangram flagged the post as mostly AI-generated, and the text contains phrasing patterns commonly associated with chatbot writing, such as repeated 'not X, it's Y' constructions and rule-of-three lists.
