GoKawiilFit:match pivots from retail body scanning to sports analytics after client request
Fit:match, an AI body-scanning startup founded by Haniff Brown, originally built its technology to help retail shoppers find clothes that fit. After an English soccer club asked to test the tool at its youth academy for athlete assessment, Brown agreed, and conversations with coaches there revealed a new use case in sports performance measurement. The company has since partnered with FIFA, Major League Soccer and Major League Baseball to provide rapid body-composition and anthropometric data for athletes.
