Xiaomi unveiled the Pad 9 Pro Max, a flagship Android tablet powered by its own XRing O3 processor, offering up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. The 13.3-inch, 144Hz display supports six-app split-screen multitasking via HyperOS 4, and the device can also function as an external monitor through video input. Priced from roughly $715, it's currently available only in China.
Leaker Kacper Skrzypek shared screenshots and video showing Xiaomi's upcoming Smart Privacy Display, a feature that lets users block onlookers from viewing their screen at certain apps or notifications. Unlike Samsung's hardware-based Privacy Display on the Galaxy S26 Ultra, Xiaomi's version appears to be software-driven and is expected to arrive with the HyperOS 4 update later this year. Some related options, like Page Privacy Display and XiaoAI app groups, currently only appear on the China ROM.
New leaked photos shared on Weibo by tipster Digital Chat Station show what appears to be Xiaomi's upcoming book-style foldable, featuring a wide inner display, noticeable bezels, and a punch-hole front camera. The design closely matches Xiaomi's own HyperOS 4 teaser image, lending credibility to the leak ahead of the device's confirmed September debut as the Xiaomi 18 Fold.
