Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reports Apple plans to announce a new AI-powered smart-home hub on October 13, featuring a 6-inch rounded screen, a FaceTime camera, and voice and facial recognition to identify individual family members and show their personalized calendar, notes and apps. Alongside it, Apple is expected to refresh the HomePod mini and Apple TV with newer processors for Siri AI tasks, and add new HomePod mini colors including pink and green; a wall-mounted screen-only version is also reportedly planned.
