GoKawiilUK Housing Ombudsman probes IT security incident affecting case system
The UK Housing Ombudsman Service is investigating a security incident at a third-party IT provider that disrupted its case management system on Tuesday. The body, which resolves disputes between social housing tenants and landlords, says new complaints cannot currently be filed online, and residents must instead call or email the service directly. It has notified the Information Commissioner's Office and is still assessing whether personal data was compromised.
