Leaked table shows Intel Nova Lake desktop lineup with three 'BFC' big-cache chips

An unconfirmed SKU table for Intel's upcoming Nova Lake desktop CPUs lists seven models, three carrying a 'BFC' tag believed to denote a big last-level cache feature. The flagship Core Ultra 9 4970K BFC reportedly has 28 cores (8 P-cores, 16 E-cores, 4 LPE-cores), a 125W TDP, and a 32-EU integrated GPU, with most other models sharing that same iGPU except the Core Ultra 5 4650KF, which has none. The table omits the rumored 52-core model, which other reports suggest will launch later for high-end desktop users.

Leaked slide details Intel Core Ultra 400 'Nova Lake-S' desktop rollout timeline

A leaked slide reportedly sourced from an OEM or motherboard partner outlines Intel's production and launch plan for its Nova Lake-S desktop chips, showing mass production starting in Q4 2026. Only a 28-core unlocked model would debut in Q1 2027, with the flagship 52-core chip pushed to later in the year, possibly between May and September 2027. Unlike Intel's usual practice of leading with flagship parts, the top-tier 52-core SKU appears positioned above a normal flagship, aimed more at HEDT-style users.
