GoKawiilValve's Steam Frame VR headset reviewed: lighter than Quest 3, but pricey
Valve's new Steam Frame headset weighs 440 grams, 75 grams less than Meta's Quest 3, with its battery relocated to the rear strap for balance and padding that avoids overheating. It uses dual LCD pancake lenses at 2160x2160 per eye with a 110-degree field of view and variable refresh rates, plus dual speakers, microphones, and monochrome pass-through cameras, though it fits poorly for glasses wearers without costly prescription lens add-ons.
