Report ties 'masculine energy' culture to stalled gender progress in corporate leadership
New data from McKinsey and LeanIn.org's 'Women in the Workplace' report shows women lead a record 56 Fortune 500 companies in 2025, just 11.2% of the list, while holding 29% of C-suite roles—unchanged from 2024. The findings come as Mark Zuckerberg's January 2025 comments to Joe Rogan calling for more 'masculine energy' and workplace aggression continue to resonate, even as the political movement he was courting has seen Donald Trump's approval rating drop to 38% in September.
