GoKawiilKonami's Silent Hill: Townfall reviewed as first-person spinoff set in Scotland
A CNET preview details Silent Hill: Townfall, a new spinoff from Konami set in the fictional Scottish harbor town of St Amelia in 1996. Players control Simon Ordell, who washes ashore with no memory and must piece together what happened through environmental clues like emails and newspaper clippings. The game shifts the series to a first-person perspective while keeping classic Silent Hill elements like fog, monsters, puzzles and limited-resource combat.
