Microsoft has expanded Microsoft Defender, its anti-malware and endpoint security product, to support major Linux distributions for enterprise use. The Linux version includes a next-generation antivirus engine, vulnerability management, device inventory, and threat-hunting tools, mirroring capabilities already available on Windows.
