GoKawiilMonthly LAN Party 'BeatDown' Draws Hundreds of Gamers to Costa Mesa
A recurring computer-gaming event called the BeatDown gathers hundreds of attendees in Costa Mesa, who haul their own PCs over long distances to play networked games together in person for up to 72 hours. Organizers connect the machines via a local-area network, and participants like Andrea Bruns travel from as far as San Rafael each month to attend.
